Development of a corporate identity for Incust interior design studio. The company is in the process of transformation and brand revival after extensive work on a large-scale project. The creation of new visual communication should reflect the current positioning and support a new stage of development.

The corporate identity is designed to translate the following features at the sensory level:

The concept is based on the principles of geometry realized in a variable grid. The grid is based on the letter Ɪ, where two horizontal lines are connected by a vertical line and arranged in a concise graphic. The vertical line moves in space, creating a new rhythm of lines—the basis for the elements of the corporate identity. A concept that combines logic and creativity.
The studio’s creative direction is guided by original illustrations. The linocut-style motifs are images inspired by the studio’s founders and the brand’s character.
Idea behind the concept
The idea of architectural precision is set by the font, whose lines are practically the same width. Small differences in thickness are intentional, in accordance with the optical rules for constructing each letter and their combinations. This technique allows for complete visual harmony.
The balance is also maintained by the visual rhythm of the first and last letters — Ɪ and T. The composition is completed by a subtitle placed in a non-standard way — this solution adds dynamics and emphasizes the pedantic detail of the concept.
logo
The logo is shaped like the capital letter I, made up of a square and superellipses. This minimalist shape has a bunch of uses: a lamp, a desk base, or furniture handles—its versatile form fits easily into interior design and is a recognizable element for INCUST fans.
The shape of the logo is also important for the company’s internal environment — the Roman numeral 1 in the form of an icon unites the team with the message to be industry leaders.
trademark
The grid-based graphics are continued in the crossword puzzle—an additional element that can be used both in digital space and in print. A monospace font, echoing the logo, is arranged in words according to the brand grid—these are the areas in which the Ɪncust studio operates.
The brand’s illustrations, filled with deep and non-trivial images, represent a separate extravagant style. The characters take their place in the author’s ex-libris — a bookplate that certifies authorship. Combined with modern graphics, the plot becomes a bold and emotional statement.

The color palette is natural, with a dominance of dark shades. Rare inclusions of dark blue are used as accents on small corporate identity media, in festive printing, and on the website—in elements that need to be particularly highlighted.
The choice of a natural palette balances the idea of technological sophistication. A pleasant harmony between intelligent design and the overall warm feel of the concept is maintained.
